In May, Roman realized the first "artist encounter" for STUDIOSUS, the European market leader in the field of cultural study tours.
Starting next year, group visits at his art studio (see the video-trailer The Waterweaver) will be part of Studiosus' official travel program.
During the visit, the group explored Roman's interdisciplinary artworks (charcaol drawings, installations, poetry, ready mades, ...) and also met his poetic accomplice TARANTULA, a type-writer, born in the 1960s. On the basis of the words which the participants had typed on Tarantula, Roman created for them a souvenir of their Lyon visit: the experimental artwork "La Confluence", integrating water from the local rivers Rhône & Saône with the Japanese technique suminagashi.
