Lecture & Workshops – St Cuthbert's College (Auckland, Aotearoa / New Zealand):

During his stay in Aotearoa, Roman was commissioned by St Cuthbert’s College, one of New Zealand’s most prestigious independent schools, to carry out a full day of lectures and artistic interventions.

In the first part of the visit, he delivered a lecture in the school’s auditorium to around 300 students, introducing his artistic practice and its engagement with social questions. Particular emphasis was placed on his recent work presented at the International Conference on Urban Health, held at the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre (17–21 November 2025).

The second part of the day was dedicated to hands-on artistic workshops. In two smaller groups, students created sculptural works exploring the Māori concept of Tūrangawaewae – “a place to stand” – reflecting on identity, belonging, and the relationship between place, body, and community.

A video documentation of Roman’s interventions at St Cuthbert’s College will be online soon.
