🔥🔥🔥 According to the Scientific Committee of the ICUH, they received over 350 submissions from across the globe: “𝗙𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 — 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲. With limited space and a commitment to curating an engaging, high-quality program, the Scientific Committee was faced with tough decisions. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. We are thrilled to include your voice in a program that brings together the world’s leading thinkers, doers, and changemakers in urban health” (extract from the official ICUH statement).
💡 One main source of research for my presentation will be my experiences as a participant, speaker & workshop leader at the International Urban Health Summit earlier this year (April 2025) #iuhs2025 at the Herrenhausen Palace (Hanover/Germany), organized by the VolkswagenStiftung – in partnership with The InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), the International Society for Urban Health (ISUH), and the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (BBAW).
❤️ I am profoundly enthusiastic to continue my artistic journey together with all the inspiring new people which I have met this year devoted to the topic of #UrbanHealth.
